After 37 years as a professional editorial and university photographer at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Steve decided to follow his lifelong passion for nature and wildlife, dedicating himself fully to photographing the world around him. From the moment he first held a camera, Steve has been captivated by the beauty of the natural world and all it has to offer. Now retired from the university, he has the time to explore, observe, and capture the wonders of nature through his lens. He hopes that viewers enjoy his photographs as much as he enjoys creating them.
